New Team Member
Congratulations on your first 30 days! Around your 30-day mark of employment you should have a conversation with your leader to support your onboarding experience.

Leader completes short form in Talent Connect.
Your leader will complete a form in Talent Connect (our goal and talent management system), capturing action items discussed in your conversation.

- With your leader, review the Department Orientation Checklist and ensure you understand department safety measures for your department and the organization.
Internal Transferred Team Member
Congratulations on your first 30 days with your new team! Around your 30-day mark of employment you should have a conversation with your leader to support your onboarding experience.
Important Resources to Review
- In some cases, a new role could qualify you to make benefit changes (i.e., increase or decrease in FTE status or contract to non-contract). If your employment event allows you to make changes, you will be notified. Visit the My Fairview Benefits page to review your selections.
- New to working remotely? Visit our Remote Work page to access resources, leader tools, and an onsite Space Finder Tool.
- Enroll or make changes to your 403(b) savings plan by logging into Fidelity’s NetBenefits website. You can also call them at 1-800-343-0860.
- Change, even good change can be stressful. Take a minute to practice self mind healing to keep yourself fresh.
- A new role, a new title. Don’t forget to update your email signature!
Leaders with New Team Members
You should plan to have a conversation with each new team member around the 30-day mark and document action items in Talent Connect.

Leader completes a short form in Talent Connect.
Navigate to Talent Connect and complete the short form titled, ‘Managers Planning Tool First 30 Days Checklist’, capturing actions items from your conversation.
You can optionally assign an Alternate Reviewer, if you wish to collaborate with other leaders in completing a new hire’s 30-day form in Talent Connect. Find out how to set this up with this resource: Alternate Reviewer Instructions.
Important Resources and Considerations
- Consider using the Fairview Commitments to recognize the behaviors of your team member that align with the organization’s mission and vision.
- Review the Department Orientation Checklist with your team member to ensure they understand department safety measures for your department and the organization.
- Evaluate your team member’s Learning Management System (LMS) lessons for completion. Be sure to provide them sufficient time in their schedule to complete any remaining lessons prior to their 30 days.
- Remember that ongoing recognition is important. Ask your team member how they like to be recognized. Our HEARTbeat program is just one way to show recognition.
- Encourage your team member to explore the health and wellbeing services available to them by exploring the Employee Wellbeing page.
