Generations in the Workplace: 15 minutes
This self-guided course will help participants gain an understanding of generational preferences and tendencies around communication, motivation, and learning styles for each of the four generations that currently make up our workforce.

Two people may be staring at the same picture, holding the same object, hearing the same words, experiencing the same situation, yet their perceptions may be staggeringly different. Image management is a complex business. We often manage multiple identities without even realizing it. Our work identity may differ from our home identity. Let’s talk about some steps you can take to strengthen your perception from others and go over some things you need to be aware of as you manage the way other’s see you.
Conflict Management: 15 minutes
Conflict is unavoidable, but it is not always a bad thing. This course will teach you how to use conflict as an opportunity to strengthen your workplace relationships. It touches on why conflict resolution skills are so essential in the workplace, before outlining seven steps to help you deal with conflict situations in a healthier, more productive way.

Change Community of Practice
The purpose of the Organizational Change Community of Practice (CoP) is to build a network of change practitioners throughout the organization. This group meets every other month. If you are interested in attending the Change CoP, email OD&L for an invite.

Building Resilience: 15 minutes
Building resilience is all about developing the skills we need to withstand pressure, change and trauma in our lives and improving our ability to recover from setbacks and adversity. In this course, we look at the benefits that resilience can bring in both our personal and professional lives and how we can embark on our own resilience-building journey.
Resilience and Stress Management: 5 minutes
This course will introduce you to the positive and negative aspects of stress, how stress can affect you, and ways to manage it while developing and strengthening your resilience.
Developing a Growth Mindset: 5 minutes
When you approach challenges with a growth mindset, you understand that you can develop the skills necessary and that failure is not permanent. The growth mindset can be applied in all areas of life, including education, physical abilities, artistic skills, relationships, and the workplace.
Emotional Intelligence: 20 minutes
Emotional intelligence is a skill that can be learned and will improve how we interact with others. Often, we react without taking the time to recognize and respond to our circumstances in the most appropriate way. This can mean missing opportunities and misunderstanding or misinterpreting the actions of others.
The Growth Mindset - Embracing Yet: 6 minutes
For this first program, we want you to understand the importance of embracing “yet,” which comes from having a growth mindset. “Yet” means that you know or expect something to happen in the future. It just hasn’t happened “by now.”
Limitations of a Growth Mindset: 6 minutes
The fixed mindset is tempting. It’s a comfortable place to live and work. In this course, we’ll go over how to know when you’re in this cycle of negativity and what the risks are. We’ll also go over failure, practice, and how to “fix” a fixed mindset.

Fairview offers you and your family members free, short-term counseling, referral and support services. You and/or your family members may use up to six short-term counseling sessions per year.
